  OXIDE awarded "Inoue Harushige Award"
We have received the 33rd Annual Inoue Harushige Prize. This prize is awarded to scientists or businesses which have contributed to the advancement of science technology, economy development, and to welfare improvement. The award was given for gHigh function optical single crystals grown from defect-control method (Researcher; Kenji Kitamura, NIMS Fellow, Development business: OXIDE Corporation).

High Output Generation of Green Laser without Resonator:
Using OXIDE-produced stoichiometric lithium tantalate (LiTaO3; abbreviated SLT), a group including Senior Researcher Sunao Kurimura of the National Institute for Materials Science (President: Prof. Teruo Kishi) has produced a high efficiency wavelength conversion device, developed independently by NIMS, and realized a continuous 16W green light without a resonator.

  For making our sales system more steady, OXIDE concluded the contract of agency with 4 companys; NTT Advanced Technology Corporation(JAPAN), Fibercryst(France), KEOC(Korea), MG Materials(USA).

  Hokuto city, Yamanashi Japan, selected OXIDE as the 1st company, by the local ordinance of inviting factory.
