QPM devices

We, OXIDE, produce 3 types of QPM products, PPMgLN, PPMgLN waveguide, and PPMgSLT. In addition, we produce QPM device mount with temperature controller, which is easy to install in your application.

How to select QPM devices.

It is easy to select nonlinear optical devices.
PPMgLN and PPMgLN waveguide have high nonlinear optical coeeficent. When you want to obtain several mW to several W of converted light, just selectPPMgLN or PPMgLN waveguide.
PPMgSLT has not only relatively high nonlinear optical coefficent but also high thermal conductivity. When you want to convert from pulse lasers or generate several W to several tens W, just select PPMgSLT.

PPMgLN

Features:

QPM device which has periodically poled structure in MgLN
High photorefractive damage resistance.
Suitable for green light generation
High conversion efficiency (deff =10~15pm/V)

PPMgLN waveguide

Features:

QPM device which has periodically poled structure in MgLN
Waveguide are created on the surface of PPMgLN by annealed proton exchange process
High photorefractive damage resistance.
Suitable for green light generation
Suitable for generating ~100mW of converted light from ~300mW of fundamental light

PPMgSLT

Features:

QPM device which has periodically poled structure in MgSLT (SWING Ltd.)
High photorefractive damage resistance.
High thermal conductivity
Suitable for green light generation several tens watts
High conversion efficiency (deff 7~9pm/V)
Unique material for QPM with high transparency at 300~400 nm in wavelength
