Optical Module
What is an Optical Module
An optical module is a product packaged to allow optical devices to be utilized more easily. It combines optical components such as lenses and mirrors with electrical components, enabling the optical device to be handled without direct contact.
Useage of Optical Modules
Wavelength Converter
This product is designed so that only the wavelength-converted light can be extracted by connecting the optical fiber carrying the laser light to the wavelength converter. Each device design offers various functions and characteristics. A wide range of wavelengths, from ultraviolet (UV) to infrared (IR) and terahertz (THz), can be supported.
Electro-Optic Module
This product allows the light to be controlled to an arbitrary polarization by injecting a laser beam and applying an electric field. It can be used for applications such as laser oscillation and laser switching.
Polarization-Entangled Photon Pair Source
This module product is designed to generate and allow the extraction of quantum entangled photon pairs when a pump laser beam is input. It can be used for applications such as quantum communication and quantum imaging.
OXIDE's Strengths in Optical Modules
It is a small, compact converter head.
The wavelength converter is palm-sized. Its small size allows it to be mounted on drones.
The quantum entangled photon pairs can be customized to any desired wavelength.
We can provide support including the evaluation of quantum entangled photon pairs (visible wavelength range). Customization to match your existing light source is also available.
