Picosecond Lasers
The vacuum-ultraviolet laser source (PEV series; PEV-L, PEV-H) is a vacuum-ultraviolet coherent source specialized as an excitation source for photoelectron spectroscopy. Based on our deep-ultraviolet laser technology, we have realized a vacuum-ultraviolet light-generation system. When integrated into angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) systems or TOF-ARPES analyzers, it strongly supports new-material development by elucidating the energy levels of materials such as semiconductors, superconductors, and battery materials.
(1) Because the light is coherent, 11 eV radiation can be focused onto the target sample with a single lens (micro-focus option).
(2) Although intended for scientific applications, it is a highly reliable light source manufactured to industrial product quality.
