Optics for laser application

Mg:SLN is a LiNbO3 crystal with a stoichiometric composition grown by the DC-CZ method. Compared to regular congruent crystals, it has about 1/1000 the Li defects within the crystal, higher thermal conductivity, and improved photorefractive damage resistance due to MgO doping.It exhibits excellent properties not only for standard wavelength conversion but also for THz generation through high-power laser incidence.
