LBGO crystals are ferroelectric materials with an absorption edge at approx. 195 nm that are transparent in the UV region.
It is attracting attention as an UV wavelength conversion crystal that has no hygroscopicity and makes it possible to fabricate Quasi-Phase-Matching (QPM) devices.
