Optics for laser application

KTN is a single crystal with a varied Ta/Nb ratio, grown by the TSSG method. By controlling the temperature, a relative dielectric constant exceeding 20,000 can be achieved, exhibiting one of the largest electro-optic effects among existing materials. Furthermore, by injecting electrons into the crystal, it is also possible to develop a function to deflect light.
