Sub-grain boundary-free stoichiomatric LiTaO3 crystals were successfully grown.
- Low defect density (100times lower)
- Wide transparent region (UV cut-off 20nm lower)
- Large EO and NLO constants (d33 >26.2pm/V)
- Small coercive field (<1~2kV/mm)
- High photorefractive damage threshold (>5MW/cm²@532nm, cw laser)
- High laser damage threshold (>2GW/cm²@1064nm, pulse laser)
- There is almost no birefringence index
- No GRIIRA (Green Induced IR Absorpution)
- Subgrain boundary-free stoichiometric LiTaO3 crystals were successfully grown.
